Father Lupupa apologizes for election rigging remarks

Catholic Priest, Father Laston Lupupa has apologized to Zambians for having suggested in a church sermon that elections should be rigged to prevent some people from going to State House.
After widespread condemnation of his message, Father Lupupa said he is sorry for his utterances as his desire is to see peace and love prevail among Zambians.
Father Lupupa said as a clergyman, he should not have made such utterances and he was tasked to apologize especially to those that were injured by his message after a meeting with the Church leadership.
He said that he is a peace-loving Zambian and has urged Zambians to remain patriotic.
