The UPND has called for an apology from the PF government to the nation and particularly its Leader, Hakainde Hichilema for humiliating him over the hunger situation in the country.
Party Chairperson for Agriculture, Food and Water Development, Levy Ngoma says Mr Hichilema deserves an apology from the PF government for the manner in which he was treated in 2019 when he declared the hunger situation in Zambia, a national disaster.
Mr Ngoma said the admission by Chief Government spokesperson, Dora Siliya in Petauke that the PF could not develop the area because resources had been diverted towards fighting hunger in other parts of the country is in itself, vindication on Mr Hichilema.
He said the inconsistencies shown by the PF on various national matters should serve as a reminder to all Zambians on the need for a change of government later this year.
