VEEP assures parliament of the normalization of Zambia’s fuel situation

Republican Vice President, Inonge Wina says the country’s fuel situation has been normalized following the commodity’s shortage which lasted two days.

Mrs. Wina says as of 6th April, 2021 the country has enough diesel stock to last 10 days and enough petrol stock to last 11 days.

The Vice President says fuel suppliers have continued to import the commodity while oil marketing companies have also continued to import fuel under the waiver that has been given to them.

She said this during the Vice President’s question time in Parliament today.
