Zambia not ready for African Continental Free Trade Area

Former Minister of Commerce, Bob Sichinga says the country is ill prepared for the African Continental Free Trade Area.

Mr. Sichinga says the country has no products to sell at continental level as evidenced by its’ failure to take advantage of regional trading blocs such as COMESA and SADC.
The former minister further said that the country needs to invest in industrialization to enable it produce goods for the continental market.
