Zambia Police Service urged to step up its response to political violence

The Zambia Institute of Governance and Civil Liberties Advocacy Platform says the Zambia Police Service should step up its response efforts to matters of the political violence in the country.

Mr. Chipili says he is concerned with the manner in which the police responded to the political violence that recently occurred at the Patriotic Front Secretariat in Lusaka and has urged the police to be fair and professional ahead of the general elections.
