A fire at a hospital in the Egyptian city of Alexandria has killed at least seven patients and injured seven members of staff.
Egyptian media said a short circuit in the air conditioning system at the Badrawi Hospital triggered the blaze in an area occupied by people suffering from coronavirus.
Other patients at the hospital were evacuated after the area was cordoned off.
An investigation has been launched into the fire.
Still in Foreign News, Somalia’s electoral chief has called for the parliamentary and presidential elections to be postponed to August 2021.
The chairperson of the commission, Halima Ibrahim, said issues such as lack of funds, insecurity, flooding and the coronavirus pandemic had disrupted the commission’s work.
The parliamentary election was scheduled for November 2020 while the presidential election was expected to be held in February 2021.
