One more person has been arrested from Ndola bringing the number of suspects arrested in connection with the murder of two Chinese nationals in Lusaka to two.
Police today recovered another body of a male Chinese national which was retrieved from the warehouse in a burnt state bringing the number of bodies recovered to two.
Zambia Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo has confirmed that the second person was arrested from Ndola last night.
Mrs Katongo said Police Officers are still conducting a search for the third Chinese national at the gutted warehouse.
Police yesterday arrested one person aged 22 with the help from members of the Public whose name they withheld of Garden House area in connection with the murder.
A burnt body of a female Chinese national aged 52 was retrieved from the inferno after the Police received a report of Aggravated Robbery and Murder with a search for other remaining two having continued.
And Home Affairs Minister Stephen Kampyongo has assured Chinese Ambassador to Zambia that the Police will arrest culprits behind the murder of Chinese national.
In an interview with Journalists, Mr Kampyongo says such acts will not be tolerated in the country and Police have been put on high alert to ensure that the culprits involved in the act arrested.
